6º ENGLISH, NATURAL AND SOCIAL SCIENCE: INFORMATION ABOUT THE THIRD (3º)TERM.

First of all I hope everyone is healthy and fine. In this term (3º y último trimestre) we will have to do everything using the computer, tablet or mobile phone. Below, I will describe briefly what we are going to do.

Natural Science

Global Scholars has finished for this year. So we will do a topic of the Natural Science book level 5. Como no tenemos libro de naturales yo os proporcionaré los contenidos por medio de este blog.

Social Science

We still have to do topic 6 of our Social book. The topic is called"THE EARLY MODERN AGE". It is a great and interesting topic about History. Remember we did the Middle Ages at school and this topic continues in 1492 when the Middle Ages ended.

No vamos a hacer sociales y naturales a la vez. Primero hacemos sociales y cuando se termina el tema continuaremos con naturales.

Tanto para sociales, naturales y inglés el uso de ordenador, tablet, móvil es importante para bajar (download) los documentos de los deberes y una vez terminadas enviarmelos para su corrección.

Por su puesto los alumnos/as que no disponen de ordenador o tablet, pueden mandarme fotos de los deberes y resúmenes de libros..

Also, I hope that all of you are getting used to typing in documents word(ODT) or even better using google docs.

Why is google docs the best option?

- Because you can see all the corrected homework together, which is excellent for studying.

- Because it is easy to use. You only have to COMPARTIR the homework with me typing the title and my email.

- Y sobre todo porque he preparado muchos deberes en documentos (ODT) que tenéis que bajar.

Para no copiar todo:
1º Baja el documento.(download del blog).
2º En editar pon seleccionar todo(se pone en azul) y luego copia.
3º Abre un documento nuevo en google docs (con tu email) y pon pegar.
4º Ya puedes rellenar los ejercicios y después compartirlo conmigo.

We are going to learn everything about the Present Perfect, that is why the list of irregular verbs is so important! During this term we will use Milton a lot. Not only students will have to read books in Milton, but also they will have to do homework. And of course we will do exams using the Milton platform.

En su momento los exámenes con nota lo harán los alumnos/as a través de la plataforma Milton. Tanto para sociales y naturales (puedo crear mis propios exámenes) como en inglés. Salvo los resumenes de libro que se mandarán a mi email o con google docs y tendrán nota.

Books in Milton

Every two weeks students will have to read a book and do a quiz. I will give three book titles, out of which each student should choose one. The student then has to write/type a summary about the book and send it to me by document/file (ODT) or google docs.

Cada dos semanas los alumnos/as tendrán que leer un libro y hacer el quiz. Siempre daré 3 títulos de libros en Milton. Cada alumno/a tendrá que elegir uno y escribir /teclear un resumen sobre el libro e mandarmelo por documento(ODT) o google docs.

Remember, everything is in the PAST TENSE. You have to write/type the:

- Introduction.

- Main part.

- Your opinion.

Don`t use he said.... she asked.... they answered.....etc.( nunca lo hemos aprendido y aún no sabéis usarlo).

The same as we have been doing before at school. Remember never, never, never copy from the book. Write your own sentences using LINKERS.
